Established in the 1953 and acquired by our family in 1972 the Amber Grill has become one of the most best-known Fish and Chip shop for its quality.
This is the fourth generation in this business but what’s most important is that experience and trade secrets have been handed down.
The batter we use is an example of one of the secrets that our family jealously holds for years. Domenico Filangi (Stephen’s grandfather) came up with this unique recipe after many months of trial and error. It’s a recipe that allows the batter to remain soft, yet crunchy and at the same time it allows to keep all the juice of the fish, as well as any other item battered, inside when cooking.
